Probability Distributions
In class, each of you was given the name of a probability distribution. Please post the name of your distribution and a description. Your description can include properties of the distribution itself, such as whether it is continuous or discrete, the minimum and maximum values, the general shape of the distribution, or a picture. You can also describe the history of the distribution, such as where its name comes from, or why/when it was invented. Your description could give an example of a common use of the description. Each distribution is unique, and so I do not expect every description to cover all of these things. See my previous post for an example and definitions of terms.
