The Bernoulli distribution is a discrete distribution of two outcomes: success, n=1 and failure n=0. For example, flipping a coin yields two results, heads being success and tails failure. Success has probability p and failure has probability q=1-p where q>p>1.
This distribution was named after a Swiss scientist, Jacob Bernoulli.
